My passion for interior design and fashion led to the creation of my own label, FLAIR.IEUR, in Hamburg. FLAIR.IEUR represents a new idea of tableware, as I am obsessed with stripes and France. So, I made it my mission to have porcelain cups produced in Europe and hand-finished in Germany with French wording.
I intensively explored the topic of "country of production" and quickly came to the conclusion: it has to be EUROPE/GERMANY. Of course, production in Asia is much cheaper, but for me, there are important points that argue against it.
Arguments in favor of EUROPE/GERMANY include short transport routes, fair working conditions and pay, our shared carbon footprint, and close cooperation with the porcelain manufacturer in Germany, which hand-finishes every FLAIR.IEUR cup.
